fyi, white screen error (on steam also) cant see anything. ( i have good pc btw :D )

+1, white screen, music, buttons sound, when I press a button I can't see, black text appears for a moment, but that's it.

Thanks for the reports! I think I’ve fixed the white-screen init issue in the latest build—could you update and give it another try? If it still happens, please let me know whether the screen is stuck on a bright cyan color or pure white. That detail helps me pinpoint which render path is failing.

Appreciate the help!

Same, the screen remains completely white. When you move the mouse, you can hear the clicks and background music. The exact same thing happens in the Steam demo running the EXE manually from the folder, as Steam gives an error because it can't find AstroNova_Demo.exe, even though the executable is in the correct path. Verifying the integrity results in the redownload of 186 files, but it still gives the same error, and repeating the process always downloads the same 186 files.

(In game) If I press a button (which I can't see), a black text "Inicializando Base..." appears (in Spanish) with a cyan effect, on both web browser and Steam, then disappears and everything goes white again, with a sound indicating that there is a dialog box from someone talking, but nothing is visible.

I don't know if it will help, but I'm adding my hardware specs:
- i5 11400
- RTX 4060 (Driver 566.03)
- 32GB DDR4 3200
- Windows 10 (latest version)
- Firefox (latest version, although it does the same in Edge and Chrome).

Thanks a ton for the detailed report and specs — super helpful. I’ve pushed fixes that should address both the white-screen init and the Steam launch/path issue. When you have a moment, please update and try the new build on Steam and the web.

Really appreciate you testing this!

Tested, unfortunately, still the same on both. I can't say about the Steam path, but the white screen might be a problem on my end, since I see very few persons having that problem.

On steam demo version, with turning on Idle Pins by Arkshija, both game's screen goes completely black. when background or window is moving, then the screen is temporary ok. My gpu is Radeon 760M(8600G Integrated) and driver version is 32.0.21025.10016. There seems no issue with web version for me.

Seems like that's discord overlay problem. I have off that then the problem seems to be solved.

Solar Beam is way too effective against bosses.  Maybe cut its base damage in half?

Thanks for the note! Solar Beam being too bursty on bosses is a common thread I’m watching. I’m collecting more data before tuning, but I appreciate you flagging base damage as the lever.

I think there's an element of skill/fun to trying to keep the boss targeted for the full duration of the ability, so making it take a bit longer (via lower damage) seems like a good way to encourage that strategy.  Ignoring a readily-increasing swarm of enemies to focus down the boss can make for a compelling risk-reward strategy.  Of course, right now it's so easy to out-scale the bosses that there there's only minimal actual risk.

In a pinch, a second lever you could use would be for solar beam to deal less damage to bosses than to enemies, or for it not to apply damage until the move ends.  The nuclear option is to intentionally degrade its late-game scaling: Using an over-powered item is fun for a while, so maybe let players have that fun for a while, but no longer.  Worse scaling might be enough to encourage players not to use it forever: Having it ignore meta-progression upgrades is a great way to tell the player it is overpowered in the early game but weaker in the late game.

this is fun but its not an idle game

(+1)

Thanks for playing! You’re right—it isn’t a pure idle. It’s an active incremental with ascension, especially early on. Later you can unlock assist/auto modules that automate parts of combat, which is why we include the idle tag—lots of incremental games with light automation sit under that label. I’ll clarify that in the description.

Appreciate the note!

The game isn't saving.

Thanks for letting me know! The save issue in the web version has been fixed, and I’ve also made the early-game balance much smoother.

If you have a moment, please give it another try — I’d really appreciate your feedback after the update!
